I don't think it would be possible without a better class system. We are limited with JKA, while it's a good idea, I think it's better left the way it is.

How about:

1.) Don't reply to a thread or shoot an idea down unless you have something constructive to add.

2.) Make it toggle able. People can turn it on or off until their heart's content, other wise, leave default disabled. That would solve the problem of Non-Jedi having them.

You could talk to whoever is doing the animation pack, I think Cyril is doing part of it. Hope that helps. I wouldn't think there would be a problem. I don't see a problem with just Role playing your left hand though.
