I think instead of "/npc spawn jawa size=40" or something, you would have to do something more like this:

/npc spawn jawa bob
/npc size bob 40

That would also make it easier to correct a mistake.

I think Def 3+, but it might be only 4 and 5.

I think you have to have Saber Defense above Level 3 to have animations. I remember I had Saber Defense level 2 and didn't see blocking anims.
