My Apologies
I want to apologise sincerely for disappearing during my 'trial' period of acceptance, I know this has happened on two occasions, but this is mostly because I've been tied up with work beyond belief.. I would like to one day return, I'm not sure if my account is still active? Would it still be there...

Re: When are you likely to RP?
I never really have a full on time schedule for turning on the server because I usually have a lot of activities going on during the day; so I'm therefore, somewhat sporadic with my approach to activity.. However, with that being said I'm likely more free during the evenings than morning or afternoo...

Re: Ageing for very, VERY active Hopefuls
All I can say here really is, I don't mind being an immortal hopeful for the time-being; you could simply RP it as months in terms of yourself as others have suggested or simply try to compress what you have done and just be careful of what you 'try to learn' IRP; as of course, if you try to learn t...

Re: New A2 map
To be completely honest, I think this is a horrible map - particularly from an RP standpoint. Two rooms with lava beneath the floor, yuck. That alone is enough to deter me away from any liking of the map. I was never a fan of such things even before role-playing. I'm really not fond of the changes ...

Re: Datapad
In the .sab files where it says hum.wav, it can be replaced by null.wav then, it will automatically look for it in the direct root- i.e. the base/rpmod folder:P.

On top of this, I believe they make some pretty weird sounds? So, they would have to replaced with silence, or against just editting the .sab file really.

Re: Saber-Modelling
Well, you could learn by doing a few sabers; it's really not that bad; but as I mentioned we could have different roles for the saber construction to make it easier for ourselves?:P Or if we struggled with a certain aspect we could switch shifts? Also; I suppose there is quite a significant number o...

Now, I've constructed hilts before but only completed one successfully: http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll65/Leographic/SaberHiltConcept3.jpg (Concept using the saber builder:P) http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll65/Leographic/SaberModelProgress1.jpg (The saber in construction.) http://i285.pho...

Re: Game Stutters
I have noticed my game stutters when I use windows media player in the background (because that takes up a lot of my CPU; as I use an ASIO driver.) I also know that Google Chrome can be a CPU killer- try running nothing but JA and see if it makes a difference, if that is not the problem then it coul...

Re: Game Stutters
Could you post a few screenshots and then give a list of your specs? That might help a lot; I wish I could do something but I've never had this problem occur before. What I would advise however, is if nothing else works and your PC is powerful enough try and run your game through virtual windows or ...

Re: Hopeful Introductions
Hello, I've made my return from a long year of stress and work; any-who if anybody remembers me, I'll be playing a 5 year old, who originates from Dantooine. He is a shy young boy, with a little stammer and casual fear for new environments. He likes to play with new objects he has never seen before ...

Re: rpmusic time, perhaps loop time?
It seems like quite a long time since people have posted on this topic and feel it needs reviving. I'm a composer, I compose music- I specialize in composing choral music; religious and prose/poetry. I can also compose Orchestral pieces and if you wish I could show you a short 1:27 minutes of a them...

Displaying thoughts would be incredibly stupid, because in reality we don't see what people are thinking and if we did we naturally act differently. Writing out thoughts would make other people realise what kind of character you are and that's not good really. It would spoil the attempts to get to k...

I'm not against such threads personally, but given the option I would much rather discover these things along the way within the RP. There is such a thing as too much information. You run the risk of prematurely tainting peoples opinions of your character because they've previously read details abo...

I most definitely support this idea. It would increase the level of RP and more can be done with abilities and training sessions. Nice thought! However, if we look at it in a negative point of view; it could become annoying and *could* be abused, but I doubt that very much so and so what if it's ann...
