I'm quite surprised by these allegations (either way) about RPMod, because it contains no modification to lightsaber hit detection compared to BaseJKA. It only provides proper detection when model scaling is used, which wasn't the case in JA+ as far as I remember (and BaseJKA doesn't provide model ...

Just going to say...the "hit detection" is actually worse on JA+ and RPMod compared to Base. Base is the original, its the foundation of everything else in the game. If you can master base, then everything else comes super easy to you. You can take the skills from base and apply it anywhe...

Check if you have CD inside the drive/ISO mounted etc. :) CD is in the drive! What's your graphics card and drivers like? What kind of cp are you running, also are you using steam client or no? Video card and drivers are all up to date. Running the game from my original CD (which I'm very proud of)...

Patched, I haven't had a clean install of jedi knight academy for a long time so I completely forgot the old patch. Got the retail one, so it's not like I receive an automatic patch

RPmod just decided after I reinstalled it today, 'that' it's no longer supporting 64-bit windows 7. It's a clean install and everything. It's pretty odd, and I'm tried all the compatibility modes.

Well there's the proximity effect that controls the opacity of text, I don't see why the same shouldn't be possible with toggling and disabling certain soundsets.

I kind of agree it would be nice to have certain sounds or effects removed, simply because they are kind of ridiculous some of them. I'm not much of a stealthy sort. I'd volunteer to make some more subtle sound effects for jumping and what not if others feel like having them replaced. Because let's ...
