For levels 4-5, there is already a range increase. In addition to that, names hover above the heads of those you can see. So when viewing through a wall, etc, you know exactly who it is.

I was aware of the nametag displaying at those levels, but I wasn't sure if a range increase was also included ...

If there's a way to differentiate between the manually invoked Emote and the actual chatmode/emote, then I'd be all for that.

I'd prefer for it not to loop when you're actually sending messages, but I agree that it would be nice to have the option to idle-loop it.

I think if I had to pick between randomization and client-side config for the chat-anim, I'd prefer client side settings.

Semantics aside, I think that a secondary account type for recognized visitors is a good solution.

This way they can participate, but they're not given anything they wouldn't ordinarily have anyway.
