Re: ((And so it begins...))
Apparently that chrome stormtrooper we saw was, in fact, Gwendoline Christie, of Game of Thrones fame as Brienne of Tarth. So that should be pretty amazing.

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens | Discussion
If they're gonna go with the weird lightsaber designs, I really hope we get to see a lightwhip. That would be so cool.

Re: Headswapping Code
Tested it out last night, single player proof of concept with the Raiden model from JK3files, skinned because I was going to use it for my last update and then didn't: http://i.imgur.com/ggnxapq.jpg Since the source code is all there for general public use, and it shouldn't conflict with anything we...

Headswapping Code
I was looking around the JKHub forums just now and stumbled across this: http://jkhub.org/topic/2480-sp-customisation-stuff/ He says it's GPL, the only thing is we'd have to make a custom .exe for it probably. The point is, it's code that allows us to have the game put body parts from one model onto...

Re: Blade deactivation/swing canceling?
K, just wanted to be sure it wasn't just something that we just hadn't really gotten around to.
Although, the source code is all online, and I wouldn't mind using it as a project to practice my C++ skills.

Re: Blade deactivation/swing canceling?
Speaking of OJP, have we approached them about permission to integrate their saber system? Or was there a consensus that we didn't want to use it?

Re: Comprehensive Linux Install Guide (JKA Steam)
Updated for some corrections, OpenJK would be better deployed on a CD install (but if you merge the directories it seems to play well with RPMod). Also, the RPMod installer works fine but for some reason the launcher won't open. Not sure quite why that is.

Re: Comprehensive Linux Install Guide (JKA Steam)
I didn't, I'll have to grab those manually. Thanks for mentioning them! I'll get back to you on running the RPMod installer through Wine, it should work pretty readily. I'll be back at my desktop Monday, and I'll give OpenJK a trial run then, as well.

Comprehensive Linux Install Guide (JKA Steam)
So, I don't know how many people here run Linux, but I just spent the better part of the last 2 days scouring the Interwebs trying to get JKA to run. So here's a comprehensive guide to getting it to work from Steam. It's way easier if you're installing from CD, so if you can do that I really recomme...
