Re: Servrs

That's usually better, yes. Steam doesn't seem to like the RPMod Launcher, so it's best to use that only to download updates to the right locations.

Re: [Completed] Simulation 2 : Assault and destruction

Sorry I wasn't there for the end, Master. I had a few things I needed to do, but I'll try and catch up with you so we can talk about it!

Re: Simulation 2 : Assault and destruction @ 338.31 1500 GS

I'll do my best to attend this one, Master Zuri! I missed the last one, but I bet I can stop us getting killed off this time!

Re: Photoshop help

Athan - saving it isn't the problem, it's making sure the filename matches the one in the .skin file! If your pathing's wrong, the file won't show. Also worth noting that, even if that's correct, Modview doesn't tend to show newly-created files until it's completely closed and re-opened.

Also, make ...

Re: Hair textures help!

Oh, on thinking about it, the other way to do it: find someone with hair that you like, then use the clone tool to move it onto your image. Here's how:

1) Roughly copy the hair you're wanting to use. That's a simple select > copy > paste job. Paste this into your skin image as a new layer.

2 ...

Re: Hair textures help!

You can start by downloading something like these:

http://all-free-download.com/photoshop-brushes/hair-brushes-photoshop.html

Once you've got them, you'll have a .abr file - this is a Photoshop brush file. When you open up Photoshop, your tool bar with have a brush tool - on mine, it's the 8th ...

Re: Hair textures help!

Grab yourself a set of proper Photoshop brushes for hair, use a white brush to clear out your current hair image, then draw from there - use a single solid colour first, then use black to touch up and add volume/shadows.

Re: Offense 1

I wish the system wasn't so linear that you had to get blue to get yellow, and so on. I wish there was a five way system to purchase any of them at any given point. And then you just enable whichever form you want on, so like yellow and red. Or yellow and Desann.

This.

I'll add a +1. Oddly ...

Re: Offense 1

We could factor in an effective damage reduction while you're at Offense 1 - have it strike for the same damage as Fast style presently does (though it's nonsense that Fast Style has such low damage anyway!), upgrading to it's standard when the player purchases Offense 2. That would mitigate the ...

Re: Offense 1

That's more the point: how many people do you know that, presented with the deadliest weapon in existence, decides to throw it around like it's no problem, wielding it with uncontrollable speed, knowing how dangerous that would be to do? Anyone picking up a weapon for the first time knows to go ...

Offense 1

Just a thought here: could we swap Offense 1 and 2, so that Medium is the first style learned, rather than Fast? Here's my reasoning:

Shii-Cho is designed to teach placement and precision of strikes - in essence, to give the student some understanding of Points of Contact, the different types of ...

Re: Just a question

You don't need to, but it's preferable in most instances, purely because the swings are slower and more controlled than is true with Fast stance. It is not, however, a prerequisite.
