Re: Servrs

That's usually better, yes. Steam doesn't seem to like the RPMod Launcher, so it's best to use that only to download updates to the right locations.

Re: Photoshop help

Athan - saving it isn't the problem, it's making sure the filename matches the one in the .skin file! If your pathing's wrong, the file won't show. Also worth noting that, even if that's correct, Modview doesn't tend to show newly-created files until it's completely closed and re-opened. Also, make ...

Re: Hair textures help!

Oh, on thinking about it, the other way to do it: find someone with hair that you like, then use the clone tool to move it onto your image. Here's how: 1) Roughly copy the hair you're wanting to use. That's a simple select > copy > paste job. Paste this into your skin image as a new layer. 2) Click ...

Re: Hair textures help!

You can start by downloading something like these: http://all-free-download.com/photoshop-brushes/hair-brushes-photoshop.html Once you've got them, you'll have a .abr file - this is a Photoshop brush file. When you open up Photoshop, your tool bar with have a brush tool - on mine, it's the 8th icon ...

Re: Hair textures help!

Grab yourself a set of proper Photoshop brushes for hair, use a white brush to clear out your current hair image, then draw from there - use a single solid colour first, then use black to touch up and add volume/shadows.

Re: Offense 1

I wish the system wasn't so linear that you had to get blue to get yellow, and so on. I wish there was a five way system to purchase any of them at any given point. And then you just enable whichever form you want on, so like yellow and red. Or yellow and Desann. This. I'll add a +1. Oddly enough, ...

Re: Offense 1

We could factor in an effective damage reduction while you're at Offense 1 - have it strike for the same damage as Fast style presently does (though it's nonsense that Fast Style has such low damage anyway!), upgrading to it's standard when the player purchases Offense 2. That would mitigate the iss...

Re: Offense 1

That's more the point: how many people do you know that, presented with the deadliest weapon in existence, decides to throw it around like it's no problem, wielding it with uncontrollable speed, knowing how dangerous that would be to do? Anyone picking up a weapon for the first time knows to go slow...

Offense 1

Just a thought here: could we swap Offense 1 and 2, so that Medium is the first style learned, rather than Fast? Here's my reasoning: Shii-Cho is designed to teach placement and precision of strikes - in essence, to give the student some understanding of Points of Contact, the different types of str...

Re: Just a question

You don't need to, but it's preferable in most instances, purely because the swings are slower and more controlled than is true with Fast stance. It is not, however, a prerequisite.

Re: Just a question

From what I can tell, adding points to Saber Offense requires you to learn that particular style - thus, you need lessons in the stance, rather than a particular Form. The idea of the Forms isn't technique - it's mindset and methodology. A Djem-So user will always be on the offensive, trying to over...

Right, but it's saying that the Temple Server map is coming up with a checksum error - therefore, it needs replacing with a fresh copy.

And then there's the second bit...

Re: Launch issues

The message is telling you what the problem is: you're missing files. Specifically, there's something wrong with your copy of a2_beta4 (the Temple map), so re download it and replace the file. You're also missing RPMOD-Server-Assets, JEDI_Transport and BlueIce. So the console is trying to load files...

You could also just try renaming the paths within the .skin files :P
