Re: Asian trailer of The Force Awakens

I don't know why, but this still feels so weird to me... It's like it's Star Wars, but not Star Wars. I can't explain... :/

It feels like a hybrid of Star Wars and something else sci-fi.

Re: Just thought I'd share the future...

Valve's gonna steal our freedom and souls, but this does indeed look like an exciting development. The next step up for gaming will be a more pro-active approach in physical movement inspired control. The motion sensors of the current consoles are Pong to what the near-future will hold in regards to...

Re: New Guy Question: Non-Jedi Characters?

Not entirely sure that it is, Cerez: after all, our process of membership acceptance revolves around the Hopeful to Initiation system. A non-Jedi cannot be Initiated, so we don't really (at present) have a mechanism for this. Acceptance as a member into the Order and Jedi training revolves around t...

Re: New Guy Question: Non-Jedi Characters?

It is of course possible to play a non-Jedi character with a useful set of skills at the enclave, but you would be cutting yourself short and out of a lot of the missions and Jedi related role-plays with other members. As Aslyn says, however, you can play a Jedi student and concentrate on extra-curr...

Re: It's here.......

I hope no-one was expecting something equal in calibre to the original trilogy, 'cause that's not likely to happen... :P But it should be more enjoyable than the prequels, I think.

Re: It's here.......

*Ooooooooooooooooooooooh!* Hahahaha! XD Looking good.

Why are all the main characters having an identity crisis at the same time? :P

I really like the sentimental touches over past events, though, that extend further than just the Jedi.

Re: Life in a Monastery

That's also true. at first back when I was still new to JEDI, I thought that events, lessons, exercises and stuff like that were just the mentors' job, and I only came online when a Knight was on thinking that he/she will host something for us, so, basically I never thought about creating my own RP...

Re: Life in a Monastery

So to clarify, I'm not saying we shouldn't have fun. We most definitely should -- that's what we're here to do. But we should do it role-playing, not randomly messing around out of boredom. There are FFA environments for that kind of fun just as readily available. Our focus should be on immersing ou...

Life in a Monastery

The following documentary film series gives an inspiring glimpse into what real everyday life in a monastery looks like -- which is in big part the overall theme of our role-plays at JEDI. I thought I'd share this source of inspiration in hope that together we can create a more realistic picture of ...
