Re: So...What do I do now?
Re-install check-list:
- Have you got the patch installed?
- Are you running the game as administrator?
- Have you tried using the compatibility settings?

Re: No Sound Cast on Certain Powers
If both Force Jump and Force Speed's sounds could be tweaked so that they were only heard by the person casting them, that would be supremely awesome. I would much rather have that than no sound whatsoever.

Re: youngling skin
Actually, I think adding Ruluk's Youngling pack to the skin repository as a sticky might not be such a bad idea. At least then when people download the pack as a whole, they aren't missing out. Use of the pack is not mandatory, but neither is the music pack when you think about it. It's the same dif...

Re: Jedi Draws
Bantha's still need to get together properly! That's a great picture, Motoko. Keep up the pencil work, our portrait still needs a touch-up!

Re: *NEW* Shader Overlays
I think this is incredibly useful, Rita! JEDI has always operated on the policy of work with whatever you can find. Hopefully (as Amoné already said) this can be included as a part of mandatory download in future. It would provide Knights with more options for hosting role-play, I like it!

Re: Drowning in JKA
I'm all for removing the effects of drowning. If I remember rightly, it's a pretty straight-forward adjustment made per server. O_o

I'd be very interested in seeing a touched up version of that! It looks great.

Re: New force powers
As this is a topic regarding new Force powers, I'm just going to put forth that I've always been in favour of adding support for Force Blinding . Imagine the equivalent of a flash-bang, without the noise. EDIT: Force Stun/Stasis would be another interesting addition. If we were to have an animation ...

Re: New force powers
Regarding Hold 4 & 5: As all animations associated with "Grip" are available as emotes, there's even less of a call to purchase the ability. Admins are able to force one or multiple NPCs to act as if they are being choked, and given the situations in which Grip is typically used under,...

Where Chat Icons are concerned:
There's a thought bubble one and further down, one incorperating the ::JEDI:: logo that some people like to use.

Re: Force Speed FP Cost
Though I can see exactly where you're coming from, I'm personally against the idea. Yes, Force Speed costs a hefty amount in the beginning, but as you progress with your character, your Force pool increases as well. The dent Force Speed makes becomes less and less in comparison with your increased F...

Re: Idle/AFK Indication
Do you mean the icon should have a subtle animation or do you think a subtle animation of your player model would make a suitable replacement of that idea?Quasar wrote:A subtle animation would look better.

Re: Idle/AFK Indication
I'm posting this because Tergos asked me to. http://i.imgur.com/mWOKY.jpg Strictly speaking, Skrassk is right in his approach. However, an /afk command could still be beneficial regardless. I've gone to absurd lengths (didn't occur to me to hit spectator) to hide somewhere appropriate only to have p...

Shameless self-advertising, though I could probably do something far more inventive these days: http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/5972/capturednk.jpg Would certainly break immersion, I feel. I think this old one might suit the purpose: http://i.imgur.com/MD6BH.jpg It's a little more considerate towar...

Re: Idle/AFK Indication
We all remember the green bubble that used to pop up when people went AFK. I'm presuming that the server is simply set to disable that particular function. In theory, it should be relatively straight forward to change how that appears. I guess something relatively similar to the chat icon would suff...
