/disagree too much work too little result, ability like that would be exclusive to people as powerful as Gabe rendering it useless and unfair to newer players, too much work for too little use

Means less dammage and tagret ground slashed on the current angle it's best for taking out turrets and other things of that nature HOWEVER it wold be nice if you could choose..

Certainly is!
Just as cannonical as R2D2 Being able to take on 2 Super Battle Droids with drills, projectile oil spills and a Jet pack, then some 20 years later, only have the ability to either open doors or get shot.
