If we don't shift towards using the 'Force sides' feature of JKA to distinguish between light and dark powers, as it doesn't seem likely, I would go with Valor as a rename of Rage.

I agree on Fury, perhaps, but not on Protect. Those of us who have Protect 4/5 know what an incredible advantage it always is.

I agree at least that there should be more marked differences between one-handed and two-handed perhaps removing the sometimes-crippling knock down if it's only one handed. Something like that. Otherwise the above meshes with my own experiences.

Good idea but the animation complexities plus implementation and unknown gameplay effects of having to deal with it make me say 'toggle', but even so it seems like too much hassle even for that.

Agreed with the others in this regard. We keep track of this, and if your Master doesn't or doesn't want to, you can keep track of it too with minimal work.
