Now, if people knew that their actions would directly influence not only the storyline, but also their characters, it would not only make the missions more interesting, but it'd probably make people to stop and think more what they do, how they approach the mission. I really can't agree more. Due t...

The difference, of course, being that without alternatives in JKA, absorb is necessary to defend not just against Storm but against all the other powers out there that we'd rather not just be blown over by. Again I don't fundamentally have a problem with Storm but it's clear that there's a bit of a ...

I have to say that personally I don't have too many problems with Storm as I've always had (since being a Knight) some degree of higher saber defense or absorption. If approached from a perspective of 'what do I do if I don't have/want these powers', I'm sort of at a loss for what to tell you. For s...

I have to reiterate that I agree with those who say that we shouldn't be overly concerned about abuse of new features. Fear of abuse is a little exaggerated even if understandable, and there's enough to abuse as is -- and we tell people not to do those things i.e. bunny hopping, excessive use of For...

On the animation side of things, I've experimented with a cartwheel /em type move and it did not work out so well. So obviously to me, a melee cartwheel animation has to be integrated into the mode itself. I'm not quite sure how to 'add' in such animations to melee with certain key combinations but ...

This is a good idea but I agree that even with checking the levels of push/pull it's kind of unbalancing since on average push/pull levels are far higher than throw levels. I'd suggest some sort of percent chance, for instance: If (push || pull) > (throw), 75% chance of success If (push || pull) == ...

Well, perhaps I'm speaking from my own perspective, considering I have level 2 and will probably only use level 2. The whole point of this is to get SOME type of reaction out of troops when we shock them. Else, if we didn't, we're shooting blue energyz at soldiers with no effect. While we're firing...
