Re: What is it like to be a ...

As a corollary... http://youarenotsosmart.com/2011/08/21/the-illusion-of-asymmetric-insight/ I see it in all its detail and understand it for what it is --- stupid! Joke aside, I'd really like to say, Nope, that's not true for me , but I'm afraid that would be a rather poorly crafted lie. Nice, wel...

What is it like to be a ...

... Hah! Gotcha'! This isn't one of those silly, ridiculous games you probably expected, when you clicked the link and thought, Oh, crap, what is he up to now? --- No, in fact this is highly sophisticated (perhaps a bit too sophisticated for you lot) but I read it and immediately thought, This is of...

Re: Disney Buys Lucasfilm

Yeah, we've all been highly anticipating your quarterly check ins! Wait ... if you know about my quarterly check ins, then you must know about my annual reports as well? Also, I'm all in for a Bugs Bunny re-enactment provided I get to be Marvin the Martian. I really have to put an end to my procras...

Re: Disney Buys Lucasfilm

I want them to make the Han Solo Trilogy. No, wait, I don't want them to ruin the Han Solo Trilogy. I have very mixed feelings about Disney's purchase of Lucasfilm. And at the same time I don't give a damn. On a completely unrelated note: I must really be procrastinating if I post here on these boar...

I still have a bad feeling about this. I doubt people will abide such rules often and it is a going to be a vague line, when something's "public" and when it isn't. Then we got kill-spawning as well, as a major issue that might occur, if we don't look at the RP reasons for not implementing...

I still see it being abused. Role playing should start from the moment you join the server and enter the game. Currently, whenever I'm on the server, people tend to crowd up in the dojo, with this feature, I think we would see this tendency grow even more, as people would rarely stumble into each ot...

I've thought a lot about this as well and have concluded that I'm not in for this feature. While it may be useful in some situations, I can think of aplenty more RP situations, where this wouldn't be appropriate and would/could be abused. If you are gone (even if it's only for a few hours), you rare...

[...] but I can only imagine it as a bunch of if statements. I don't think I recall ever writing anything that didn't primarily consist of "if statements" and variables. Well, I do, but those are minor programs that read and displays files, or automatize the act of writing a file with som...

Larkit. I usually make up names, and later find out which meaning it has (and if it has none - skip it) - sort of "reverse engineering" the name after I make it up. Lares, the name of the Roman deities or supernatural house-protectors (singularis Lar) make sense in the way I originally pic...

I would like to see, let's say, 7 different classes instead of the current three - it adds diversity on the game mechanic's side, not only the individual's ability to roleplay their characters. Other than that, I don't have much to say regarding the guardians. When it comes to combat, size should be...
