Re: Hello there !
Hello, Hyperion. Welcome to JEDI. Traditionally, we don't allow new players to create their own species and homeworld, precisely because that allows you to give your character any qualities, strengths or abilities that you may wish - all of which could prove to be unbalancing to the nature of the RP...

Re: Hello! - couple of questions regarding joining
Not everything, but it helps to grab everything in Landing Requirements, and useful to grab people's models, too, so you can actually see us in-game.

Re: Hello! - couple of questions regarding joining
It's entirely possible, and indeed required that you join us on the server. You'll start out as a 'Hopeful', a character of your own design, often a youngling, since it's rare for adults to start their training as Jedi at a later age. During this period, you'll get to know the community (and we'll g...

Re: Hello! - couple of questions regarding joining
Elise, I find it helps to go a little 'method', personally: put yourself directly in your character's shoes, and try and perceive the situation as they would. How do you feel? What might you think? How would those thoughts and feelings appear on your face, or be expressed by your body language? I wo...

Re: Hello! - couple of questions regarding joining
Elise, I'll be honest with you: the only thing we care about is your RP, and how well you mesh with the community . Star Wars lore is something you tend to gain over time, and we have numerous members who speak English as a second or even third language - and, as long as we can understand you, and y...

Jolt,
This sort of information is restricted to students of Padawan rank of above, for fairly good reason. I would suggest you revisit it once you have passed your Initiate Trials, should you choose to take them.
Regards,
Teynara

Re: [Open] The Three Pillars of the Jedi Order
1500hrs is perfect, so let's go with that. And please do stop calling me 'Master'. Teynara's fine, but everyone calls me 'Tey', and you're welcome to do so, too. I appreciate your attention to protocol, but you can relax ! Also, I'm glad to see that you understood that part of the Code just perfectl...

Re: [Open] The Three Pillars of the Jedi Order
Rutrik, There's nothing wrong with going into a lesson blind! The Code is quite specific on this point: we're all ignorant, but it's only a negative if we choose to remain that way. Requesting a lesson rather proves which way you'd prefer things to be, don't you think? Would .21 be suitable for you?...
