It's up to us to assume the responsibility of knowing when we're being too unrealistic. For example a four foot youngling knowing yellow is ludicrous, but someone like an Echani, Noghri or even Rattataki who comes from a rich background of combat oriented skills would be a little more comfortable. I wish the system wasn't so linear that you had to get blue to get yellow, and so on. I wish there was a five way system to purchase any of them at any given point. And then you just enable whichever form you want on, so like yellow and red. Or yellow and Desann.
