Re: How to play Jedi Academy on Windows 10
If it's NVIDIA graphics related, I'm sure it will be fixed in an official update coming from the NVIDIA team through the Windows Update utility at some stage. Alternatively, you could try updating your graphics driver to the latest version (even cutting edge / beta?) through a direct download from t...

Re: How to play Jedi Academy on Windows 10
Glad to hear you managed to get it working at least partially. Regarding the mouse running away problem, sometimes giving the game a different screen resolution helps. I know I've encountered a problem like that with some older games earlier on Windows. Otherwise, try to tell Windows to use a differ...

Re: How to play Jedi Academy on Windows 10
I think Windows 10 is still missing a lot of the proper hardware drivers needed for many PC graphics cards and mice/peripherals, hence why sometimes you need DirectGL, and to mess with different experimental drivers, etc. to get things working. I honestly don't understand why so many people are so e...

Great shots man! Wish you could of got some of the apartment incident. I meant to take some 3rd person cinematic shots, too -- including the apartment incident -- for you guys, but I literally fell asleep at the screen, I was so tired... I totally missed the whole thing... Sorry......

Cerez's Photo Album
I'm gonna be dropping in this thread the best pictures I take during our RP adventures. Many of them will be from Rezzy's perspective in one way or another, but hopefully I can get some other, more creative shots in, too. (I hope this fits within the rules. I couldn't find a better place for them.) ...

Re: Random Map Entities Appearing
That's rather strange, and it could be a bug in the RPmod client. I would mention this to Soh. But I'm glad you've found a workaround.

Re: Ping Issues On The Server
I'm having sudden surges as well recently that completely pause the connection to the server without reason -- my internet is definitely stable (checked). It's something to do with traffic on the server, I think, feels almost like it's struggling to catch up from time to time. Not sure exactly what'...

Just the same. It's still base JKA. Just an improved/updated, open source, community maintained version.

Re: Solo Game with RPMod Launcher Installed Crashing
In that case that's it. And you're right, Bo. I looked it up and the base game doesn't support custom resolutions. You could try using OpenJK instead, Syrena. OpenJK has good support for custom resolutions and works just the same as (or better than) JKA MP. 1. Download this package: http://builds.op...

Re: Solo Game with RPMod Launcher Installed Crashing
Are you using a custom resolution? I've had the same issue in the past and it was because of this. My initial thought was the same, but isn't that relevant only to certain versions of OpenJK? Or is the retail game guilty of this quirk, too? Regardless, Bo has a great point. Try changing the resolut...
