Re: Drowning Mechanic In JKA
Note that rp_disableDrowning needs to be changed to 1 server-side first, as it is set to 0 currently.

Re: Drowning Mechanic In JKA
But it *was* done! It's a feature of RPMod 0.5.0, it just needs to be used.

Re: Console Adjustment
Supporting new colors in the console isn't possible without altering the game engine (jamp.exe), which is something RPMod doesn't do at the moment.

Re: RPMod Launching Issue
Did you install RPMod on this computer using its official installer? or did you copy/paste files from another computer?

Re: RPmod with Macs
Missing the RPMod-Server-Assets.pk3 is normal (as the name says, it's for the server only) and shouldn't prevent playing. What's happening exactly, step by step? Could we have a screenshot of the problem?

Re: In game issues
This error may happen when too many different resources are loaded by a map or through admin commands. Such resources may include models, sounds, effects, etc. When a resource is loaded, it remains so until the map or server is restarted.
Did this occur on a specific map?

Re: ((Server and HUD issues))
Well well.. yes, it seems it was Grokh's account. Why? because the RPMod account display name was "Grokh'torr Eikh’mir", with that character between "Eikh" and "mir". I don't know why yet, but this character got converted internally to the separator used between keys an...

Re: ((Server and HUD issues))
Thanks for the info Silas. It may be related to a security patch introduced in 0.5.0, which limits the client userinfo size and may have truncated the part that lets RPMod servers know which client version you're using. I just deployed an update to RPMod (0.5.0b) to all 3 servers, in an attempt to f...

Re: ((Server and HUD issues))
Hello all, Thanks for your reports so far. All of the symptoms described here come from an issue with the "RPCS" system, which allows the servers to send state information to RPMod clients. For example, without this data the client doesn't know if Accounts are enabled, which has serious co...

Re: [Force Power(s)] Heal Others / Force Meld
This is already implemented: if you target a single player, only this player will be affected by Heal Others / Force Meld. If you want to affect a group, aim your crosshair to the ground.

I haven't investigated yet, but does this happen on all servers, and for everyone at the same time?

Re: The type initializer for [...] threw an exception
Hmm, this error message doesn't really provide enough information to understand what's going on (I will work on improving error reporting in future versions). Things you might want to try: Extract the RPMod-Launcher.pk3 file manually (in your "GameData/rpmod" folder) using a tool like 7-zi...

Re: Comprehensive Linux Install Guide (JKA Steam)
Thanks for sharing your experience running JKA/RPMod on Linux. Did you try the RPMod installer with Wine? and/or the RPMod Launcher? I would happily get feedback for either or both of them. :) Also, you mentioned using the RPMod Mac client, but this one doesn't include the DLLs for Windows (uix86.dl...

Re: pk3 upload problem
Just to make sure: are you trying to upload it from the Game Assets page or the My Profile one? You should be using the latter, as your lack of admin privileges does not allow you to use the Game Assets one.
