Downloading RP Mod

I am having issues installing rpmod correctly.
Firstly, the Web installer will not work for me. I change my directory to the SteamApps section (c/program files/steam/steamapps/common/starwarsjkacademy/gamedata) and create the RP mod folder. I begin my installation, and it just stops at the animation.pk3 and will not continue further.
I proceed to do the offline installation, and it downloads perfectly, but it will not even open up. I tried running as admin, and it just freezes.
I tried downloading the mac .pk3's and just putting them into the folder, and RP mod works, but it's glitched out.
Help please?
