Can't.... see.... through... the.... awesome.....

I kid. Yeah, it was a bit over the top and the director's audio points it out quite a bit too. XD

Lets hope that JJ doesn't ruin Star Wars like how he ruined Star Trek.

Star Trek was ruined more by appalling script writing and cheap ways of getting around how not to contradict established lore (alternate timeline!) more than any fault of JJ Abrams. Yes the lens flares made me want to attack wild geese with a steak mallet but those aside, he COULD pull off a half-decent movie.

From Star Trek to Star Wars, one thing I know is he's playing with fire....

He could make an even bigger name for himself here or ruin his current rep if he messes it up...

I loved his Star Trek film, but I know/knew absolutely nothing else about Star Trek. In my opinion, if the biggest fault in your adaptation of a movie is that it doesn't line up perfectly with pre-established canon... you've done a pretty good job. This is how I felt about the Hobbit and the Marvel films as well.

We watch these movies, read these books, and play these games for one thing at the end of the day: stories. So, if J.J. Abrams and crew can tell a good story set in the Star Wars universe, I'll be happy.

Starwars, Episode VII - Return of the flare.

As Azrael would say, "You disappoint me."

Perhaps it'll be an alternate Universe where Qui gon comes to his senses and slaps Anakin upside his face.

Id like to see it where its less action and what it would be like to be a jedi. Idk if that will work though, since action sells.
