Shakk'aven - "Shock-AH-ven" with a slight pause before 'ah'. The emphasis is on 'ah'. 'ven' as in vent.

Shakka - "SHOCK-uh" with the emphasis on 'shock'.


Note: I've seen a lot of variants as a nickname (Shakk, Shakk', Shakka). Twi'leks refer to each other using their true name (Shakk'aven) and separating them indicates a separation from their homeworld/culture. Her Basic name is Shakka Ven. She refers to herself using her full name but she allows and prefers Shakka for those who can't pronounce (or are too lazy to type out) Shakk'aven.

Alright I'll jump on the wagon. Easy stuff though.

Khatla Merie. "Khat" as in Cat "la" as in latte :lol:
"Me" as in Meh... "rie" as the E sound as in really or reel lol. So simple this wasn't needed huh? :mrgreen:

Pretty simple. Wen as in "When" OR is pretty obvious and "Do" as in "Doe"
So its Wen-Ordo (When Or-Doe) :D
