Re: GIMP Advice
This might help: http://ngeditfoto.blogspot.co.uk/2008/0 ... orial.html
Alternatively, find a texture with a beard you like and use the Clone tool with a soft edged brush to carefully overlap it onto your texture. That's how both beards were done here: http://i.imgur.com/i7ynXSh.jpg
The first is jedi_hm's beard, the second game from the Base jedi model.
Or, there's Photoshop: http://www.graphics.com/article-old/how-cheat-photoshop
http://www.webdesign.org/photoshop/phot ... 13885.html
Photoshop CS2 was released for free some time ago: http://www.techspot.com/downloads/3689- ... p-cs2.html
Hope that helps!

Re: GIMP Advice
Alehk!
Thank you once again Alehk! Don't know if I would know how to do any skinning if it wasn't for you
This is very helpful and I will work on making some facial hair, thanks again.

Re: GIMP Advice
I just downloaded cs2 in an effort to reskin and get back into doing it regularly.
It "is" a free out of date program but regardless it does require a serial activation as cs2 was previously promotional.
Here it is - 1045-1412-5685-1654-6343-1431
Just cut and paste
