I am not sure if I will be able to attend for the same reason as the last lesson Master Orion held considering I should be leaving half an hour around this time but I will try nonetheless.

Ethical Approaches - Virtue Ethics

Class was held on 339.27 at 1500 GST.

The lesson extended over about 70 minutes.

It included an overview of Ethics and Morality as well as an extensive discussion on Virtue Ethics. Consequentialism and Deontology were touched upon without mentioning there names to contrast Virtue Ethics against and as an introduction for later sessions.

Assignment,

Pick an event in which you recently took a particularly difficult decision and try to analyze that decision in light of Virtue Ethics. Would you have done it differently had you known what you learned in the class?

You have one cycle to complete this assignment.

Addendum: This was promptly corrected during the session, but I had noticed that at least one student's notes disregarded said correction. I inadvertently switched the definition of Ethics and Morality. The former revolves around societal beliefs whereas the latter involves more personal beliefs. I hope that is clear.
