Locked sabering

This is an idea I had while rethinking the classes.

Could it be possible to have a key/cmd that while held/activated, the feets wouldn't move apart from the spinning.

This would allow all moves to be done without the player model running around like an headless turkey the night before thanks giving...

It would aid in classes, as there will be less hassle into 'not getting hit' by other's saber (especially that we'll probably be using the regular sabers more with the fakedeath).

For Halt:

What I mean is...

Imagine swining your saber, using the movement keys, but while holding a 'run/walk' like, you wouldn'T move while doing the moves (apart from the spins).

To 'test it' what it would look like, start a personnal server by doing Devmap mp/ffa1 and noclip/clip into the floor just enough to stuck you in it.

Then do any move you want and you'll have the effect I'm looking for, but it shouldn't mess up the stance like noclip does.

So, stationary swings while holding a key, like walking and sabering, but without the movement.

Yes it does Master. And yes I think that is a cool idea. I used to do it in SP by hold "use" down and then attacking. It froze me in place.
