Public Information
Publicly Available Information on the events
Level of Exposure: Planet
  • After a lengthy debate including both the AUR and CGR, the impasse in regards to the taxation issue has been overcome, though at a great cost
  • Evidence suggesting White Bantha's involvement in the sabotage of Rannon's Farms has been brought forth to the attention of Immara's governing body
  • Councilor Din Khorta was assassinated shortly after the summit came to it's conclusion...
  • Ilya Gampassa, Aren Kelpor and myself convened with Minoda Darkrider and boarded the shuttle, and set out for Immara at about noon and arrived in the afternoon, where we met up with Councilor Khorta to announce that we were prepared to engage the committee
  • At the behest of Councilor Khorta, we were implored to take our place on the stand, and re-state our purpose for being there. This duty fell to me, and I did my part in making certain everyone present was aware of our genuine interest in helping the summit reach an agreement that would best serve not just one party, but all of Rannon's population
  • Ilya was instrumental in bringing to light the real cause of the AUR's plight, despite much skepticism she managed to cut through and have them hear us out about what evidence we did have to present, very real threats directed at members of our Branch
  • Aren Kelpor took the stand next after convincing the members of CGR of the dangers posed by supporting White Bantha in their shady dealings, highlighting criminal activity uncovered by our Branch of the Order some cycles back.
And with the validation provided by GRID security, we managed to sway Councilor Khorta into initiating a vote for the CGR to oust White Bantha as a preventive measure, in spite of what harm cutting ties to the Shipping Company might bring short term...
  • It's as of yet, still unclear whether we were right about White Bantha
After the hearing came to a close, Councilor Din Khorta was regrettably targeted in a hit, that we suspect was to send a clear message our way, and those at the summit who listened to our council...

I believe that this is not the last we have heard of this issue.
While we maybe have done something to relieve the burden of the farmers here on Rannon, we can't truly be sure that we hit the right people by going after White Bantha, despite the fact they were implicated in shreds of evidence pieced together by us...

So my suggestion is.
  • We follow these events up by investigating those who attended the summit, as well as speak amongst ourselves to find out whether there is something we could have possibly overlooked?
  • Keep in touch with GRID and see whether or not they have found out more since the day of the summit
  • And that we move forward cautiously from now on, if it's true that only a few select members of White Bantha is behind this, then it naturally would be undue to punish them all the same, there is still a great chance that we have the completely wrong people, (this is just my opinion and if the council doesn't see fit to follow it up then I understand completely)
