Greetings fellow Jedi,

We are pleased to inform you that Minoda Darkrider has accepted an appointment to the Jedi High Council. Master Darkrider has completed his trial period as a Local Councilor with the expected dedication and diligence that is becoming from those who seek to guide our Order.

He will post a message re-dedicating himself to this important role, below.

From day one Minoda has shown integrity, humility, and creativity, all consistently over the course of his time here. His understanding when contributing to Council matters has been invaluable, and I've admired his willingness to put his personal feelings on matters aside several times and help make a decision that is best for this community. At the risk of repeating myself; Minoda Darkrider makes fun Star Wars happen, and I'm proud to see him continue doing so.

((Minoda has done a lot for this community and his insight on important matters has been extremely helpful in recent weeks. I have been able to rely on him heavily and always have been appreciative of his help and impressed with his drive.

I have high hopes for his continued leadership in JEDI and believe the community is in good hands.

Greetings,

It doesn't feel long since I made a similar announcement regarding my new station as Local Councilor of our beloved Duneeden branch. It truly is an honor to have those we hold in high esteem have the confidence in your abilities and judgement to be worthy of elevation to the High Council of our Order.

Since taking stewardship of our branch, I have come to find myself further ingrained in the training and lives of our young minds. Offering a guiding hand in ways that I had not experienced during my regular duties as a Jedi Knight. It is my sincere hope that I continue to be a voice of reason for those who are willing to listen.

As I have said countless times before; my door will always remain open to those who wish to seek advice or support.

((I know the evolution from Local Councilor to High Councilor is a natural one for someone doing their job, but this completely caught me by surprise. Thank you to Kiara and Pent for having the confidence in me to bring me up to HC to continue helping to lead and build on the community.

I put a lot of effort into JEDI and it's been rewarding seeing that recognised on multiple fronts.

My aims haven't changed, I want to keep helping to build activity within the community, drive creative efforts and empower members to be creative themselves, creating stories, running them and do whatever I can to make that happen.

Thank you to everyone who interacts with Minoda during their RP, interactions big or small all have an impact on our characters whether that's an empty meditation lesson with an initiate who is yet to dip their toe into the waters of the Force, or giving another initiate a pepper plant to look after as some kind of cryptic lesson on the process of growth and life.

The maps, the models, the effects, sounds and music all help but they aren't needed. The efforts you put into even the most simplest of interactions matter. Some of the most meaningful dialogues I've had with other players have been behind a fade to black.

Roleplay is what you make it.

I'm looking forward to seeing what JEDI has in store for us for the rest of 2024 and 2025.
