Level of Exposure: Capital City of Ro'dyn

• I was assigned by Master Archivist Shu Ra to go to the city to make a trade with a trader named Zanuka for an old Kel Dor relic called the "Kunde'lar" which translates to something like "Tip Of The Spear".
• To make the trade, I was presented three items by Master Shu Ra with instructions to give only one of them to Zanuka. The items were as followed: A Rv'an shard, a Phylaxis Stone, & the Horn of Valor.

• The relic was obtain and is in Master Shu Ra's possession. No items were traded and have been returned to the Master Archivist.
• There was a casualty discovered during the trip. The trader, Zanuka, was found dead at her hideout.
• A tampered Astromech, an R2 unit, was found and it contained the relic. The droid was brought to the temple and the relic was extracted by Master Shu Ra himself. The droid is now on the possession of the Artisans.

• The trader had connections to a gang called the Dust Rats and a group called the Flesh Emporium.
• Upon ascending the stairwell to Zanukas hideout, we heard blaster shots past the door. Upon entering the door we saw a lone armed Weequay flee from the scene. Upon entering the hideout, we found a corpse that we found out was Zanuka.
• We were able to identify the body with a recording from a damaged datapad that belonged to Zanuka.
• In the recording, Zanuka talks about gangs wanting the relic to gain power over the other gangs.

In my opinion..

My recommendations are as follows...

• I suspect that the Dust Rats are connected to Zanukas murder. A bartender mentioned the connection to the Dust Rats and that anyone who associates with them disappear. I also suspect that one of the patrons at the cantina during our early investigation for Zanukas location, a middle aged human male with a scar on his face, may be a member of the Dust Rats. Lastly, in the recording we found, Zanuka talked about being followed since exiting the spaceport so I assume that there was a deal that went wrong with the Dust Rats. Something to be investigated.
• I suspect that there is likely a gang war happening. A new meeting location should be made to make a safer trade since Ro'dyn is growing increasingly dangerous.
