Chat Ranges (improvement suggestion)

I really like the chat ranges, but there's one problem with it, though. And that is that you can "hear through walls". It's not a large issue, but it can be quite confusing, when talking to someone, and suddenly hear that someone's nearby, but actually on the other side of a securely locked 20 inch thick door.

So my suggestion is, if it's possible (but Soh can do anything), to do as with the in-game sound system (and I think drawing is done in the same way, to prevent lagging, but I'm not into the engine). Well, it's basically just a more realistic chat-range-system I'm suggesting.
