Looking at it at first, that does seem abnormally slow but then again younglings move slower than everyone else (It's annoying when following someone, you have to run every now and then) The first part of the video seems slow yes but it does also seem to jump forwards a bit at one point. I noticed you were logged in so I assume you were on the server. Do you move the same when logged out or in Solo play?
Not that slow!Raltharon Damara wrote:Younglings move slower than everyone else
This is very peculiar, i've never seen anything like it. The best way to figure it out is by comparing yourself to other Younglings on the server.
I've seen you on the server plenty of times Tel and i've never seen you walk at that speed.
(Most likely because i've never seen you walk full stop )

Hmm... somethings definetly off there. You aren't using a weapon either (obviously, cos you're still a youngling) so that rules out a saber with reduced walk speed... this is actually kinda wierd... are you using a walk toggle?Tel Koth wrote:Well, Im still moving so slow in Solo game, and when logged off...
Hmm this doesn't seem to really be a "bug", just a crappy speed scaling formula (it works but could be better).
When the modelscale is quite low (for you, 70%), if you are idle and start walking, you'll be slow. It usually gets better if you keep walking for a few seconds, or if you run first then walk. I suppose Larkit could confirm this, since he has the smallest modelscale (50%).
However this is a RPMod feature so you shouldn't experience it in solo games (hosted by yourself with BaseJKA).

It's a little program you have open in the background while JA is running, instead of holding shift to walk, you simply press it once and the program essentially tells JA it is being held down by sending commands to the console, voila you are walking by only moving forwards. I use one cos it's just easier for me than holding the button, admittedly though it's designed for MBII gunners but it still works.Tel Koth wrote:Umm... What is walk toggle?
