Added RPMusic command

Post by Gabe Alkorda »

Just a thought I've had recently while being in-game. I've noticed a lot of new songs playing (I'm assuming from the galaxy music pack), but I don't know the names of them if I want to use them again. It'd perhaps be cool to be able to type just /rpmusic and have it tell you the current song playing, so that if you wanted to play it again at another point you could. Dunno if its possible or not, but I'm going to cross some fingers for it ;)

Well, they have pretty simple names: lightexplore1-4, darkexplore1-4, action 1-3 etc. I've noticed a lot of tracks from the pack don't seem to work. Me, I just use lightexplore4, because it's an awesome piece ;)

Has there been a recent update I missed?

And we have the ability to chance them ourselves?

I feel out of the loop.

There was a list of all the songs Shimi had posted somewhere (since I've never felt the need to deal with the music, I've never bothered looking at it though). Though such a command would be helpful.

Iverian: a player can override the server music for themselves only. So I usually only hear what the server uses if someone changes it (which changes it globally), alerting me to the need to change it for myself once again :p
