Force Lightning
I was playing MB2 and noticed the new effects for Force Lightning. When you use it, not only does it shoot out a bit more randomly it aso hits and scars the ground at times and interacts with the walls a bit.
I did not explain this well, but is it possible to look at the code and implement it into RPMod?

i.e. wall marks from From Storm.
I'd personally prefer it without, or maybe as an optional feature, but I'm sure its possible provided the MBII code and effect is open source.

To choose doubt as a philosophy of life is akin to choosing immobility as a means of transportation.

Ah OK, that's far less ugly than I'd anticipated.
PUT IT IN!

The only problem I can see with this (other than the fact that it's affectatious) is the rational behind the non-damaging forms of Lightning being potentially compromised: if a Jedi is controlling the ability to the extent that it merely stuns the victim and disarms them (as is often true with higher-level Force Lightning), then damage to the surrounding area would demonstrate a lack of such control - the lightning is causing damage to the surroundings yet not to the victim. That's incongruous - it just doesn't fit.

The effect shown in the videos is actually quite mild and temporary and was even less than what I was expecting. It's not as though it leaves black marks and destroys everything it touches, Aslyn.

The effect presented in the clip is extremely mild but utterly appropriate. The user has control over the conversion of potential energy into the Storm ability, but it will naturally interact with surfaces as it dissipates, just like real electricity. There's no reason for this visualisation to imply a lack of control, or increased damage, but it does make it suddenly tangible.
Again, if it had been grotesque burn marks everywhere I'd have been against it, but after seeing it in action, I think it's actually a very subtle, tasteful and worthy inclusion.
