Post by Alkur Tekeil »

Here it is, I included several mods I enjoy.
Readme wrote://JEDI KNIGHT: JEDI ACADEMY MODIFICATION

//DETAILS
AUTHOR: Evan aka Alkur Tekeil
WEBSITE (at least where you can contact me): http://jediholo.net/forum

MOD NAME: Ivilance Mod
FILE NAME: ivilancemod.zip/.pk3
FILE SIZE: 733KB
RELEASE DATE: 3 May, 2010
VERSION: X.X

//DESCRIPTION:
I was unhappy with serveral base JKA features and effects. So this mod made its accumulation over
roughly three or four years.
What I've changed:
*The Seeing "aura" is now desaturated and slightly altered to give a more blurred look.
*I've used and altered Third's Better Saber Clash Effect, slightly desaturating it.

*I've altered the base "solid" lightsaber cores, swing effects, and glows to be more linear and
more suitable for my personal tastes.
*I've changed the crosshair "Force swirl" icon to be desaturated, because I didn't care for the
blue.
*I changed the loading bar to be desaturated because I didn't care for the blue (see a theme?)
*I altered the console using an image I found in the JKA's asset files. The console now is more
grey allowing the full range of text colors to be visible in the console.
*Used an altered version of Mikkel's Chat Icon Pack's "white" chat icon.

*Used the Force icons from AdZ's Force Mod v2, because I like their simplicity.
http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/A ... _Mod;98169
*I slightly altered the health and shield pick-ups to no longer have a cycling sheen affect.
*I edited the chat "click" sound when messages are sent to no longer play.
*I edited the Seeing loop sound to no longer play.

//INSTALLATION
If you've bothered to download this file, you should probably know how to install pk3 files in
order to make them work.

In the zip I've also included a "rgb_line" and "rgb_core" image file which is intended to replace the RPmod's
corresponding images, which would make any RGB saber blade/core similar to the "solid"
blades/cores.
Here's what you do to get it to work:
1) Open the pk3 file "RPMod-Client-Assets" in PakScape or WinRAR.
2) Open the file path of gfx>effects>sabers.
3) Click and drag the Ivilance Mod's "rgb_line" and "rgb_core" image files into PakScape/WinRAR, and replace the "RPMod-Client-Assets"
file's corresponding image file.
4) Save, and close PakScape/WinRAR.

//INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
I received permission where it was requested to use, modify and redistribute the three mods I've
listed. If you intend to alter, build upon or redistribute this file, please include this readme
as well as those of the others. If you mess with the Force icons, you'll probably need to get
permission from AdZ. Otherwise, you don't need my permission to alter or redistribute this file,
as long as you meet the readme requirement.

Please note my HUD FP/HP/Shield/Stance changes aren't in the mod, and that the colors of the lighsabers are RGB, and not solid.
