I propose that this thread starts slowly coming to an end. It's been really nice, and the artwork has been fabulous. However, it seems that excessive OOC comments and "lulz" have continued to make it's way through this thread, after many admin requests for it to stop.

Maybe we need a moderator to remove the most unrelated posts, would really hate for it to close. Shouldn't be needed though after so many people making it clear to stop the random posts.

I've spoken with Fabien about this on several occasions, about moderating the forum in general, and he is of the mindset that things should remain largely unmoderated if they do not disrespect, flame or hurt anyone's feelings.

However, I do agree with your suggest Fane, simply based on the fact that when folks go off on a tangent, that's the route the topic heads down as well. It becomes difficult for folks to stay on track, or worse yet, simply let a topic go quiet for a while, when there isn't anything "constructive" to add.

I don't want to see this topic die, get locked, or get deleted, simply because folks like to tangent on silly things, because I know that's how they enjoy themselves. However, I don't want to read a bunch of inane posts when this thread is really about JEDI-oriented artwork.

One good piece of JEDI art every two weeks > multiple inane posts every day
