Mace Windu was probably the only Jedi that managed to get as close as he did to the dark side without toppling over and becoming a Sith. Note that the person that invented Form 7 with him eventually went dark, and did you see the look on his face when battling Palpatine? THAT was anger. Kyle katarn, also, wasn't very much a good example for Jedi. He used the Valley of the Jedi for very un-Jedi-like reasons in JK2, and seemed to heartily enjoy killing Storm Troopers, which were actual life forms a Jedi would be expected to respect.
