JEDI Comport

Well I hope this one goes better. I'm not sure about the coloring of the insignia but trust me, the other combinations I had up looked worse...

Thought I'd try give something to the community for all the help I've recieved from everyone here.

I think, the image could be improved by taking a soft edged eraser brush to the bottom of the each of the Council member's legs. Maybe lower the ::JEDI:: title a bit further down, perhaps even enlarge it a tad. Lowering the opacity of the logo I think would help improve the look of the image, as well. Not bad, though. It shows promise. I like the general colouring and general mood the image conveys.

I don't think the Logo needs to be any bigger, but yes I think it would look very nice with the opacity of it lowered.

Anyways its looking good so far. As was mentioned, dropping ::JEDI:: down a bit and making it a bit bigger would help greatly, as well as lowering the opacity of the logo itself.

Also, Kih never said there was nothing wrong with the logo in his first one, either. He simply pointed out that we can get the actual JEDI logo lol. I personally liked the wallpaper with the first logo you added, Kieran. It seemed to flow a bit better with the entire layout then our actual logo seems to be doing.

Well I had a lot of time on my hands and after noticing this topic I thought I would give it a shot. This was just a quick scratch up in 20 minutes so don't shoot me down to hard.

I hope you like it, I am not the best at merging text with my creations so I usually don't add any if it isn't needed. Here is one with and without the ::JEDI::. Hope you enjoy. Also I apologise if I didn't get you in it. Not an easy job to blend many images together, so it was not possible to get you all to fit in without cluttering the image completely. Some you may have to squint harder than others, but there is a good number of members and ex-members within the image.

Wow, honestly I'm surprised to see a lot of those pictures, Zelai. Like, the one of Aayla and myself.. that's a really old model of mine, probably from early-to-mid last year. How did you get your hands on a picture that old if Zelai wasn't around during that period?

Either way I do like that picture, its not bad

I dipped into some of the art topics that are still left around, went through the pages and picked the ones that I found interesting.

I decided to go for images because they also give a sort of background to the creation, for example the council chambers that are seen. Instead of using modview and editing the models across. I just didn't feel modview was needed for this and it is nice to see old images used, especially the stories that are behind them.

Like I said Seb, the one WITHOUT the blindfold is creepy, I love the blindfolded one more

I just had to pick my jaw up off of the ground, suddenly my work looks like nothing in the shadow of that brilliant piece. How long did that take you to do ? It's crazy...
