Jedi rely on the Force Sense to premeditate blaster bolts and deflect so I concur with Rash. Make bolts deflection cost FP.. whe hit 0 you can´t deflect automatically (and effectivly - per level), just if you make an attack (like using blue style, diagonal hits) with your lightsaber.

That would be quite the problem for guardians since we don't have any FP!

And Rash wouldn't that be the same as decreasing randomization?Lol.

perhaps.. high levels like 4 and five could cost no FP? DUnno.. lets brainstorm. Would be nice if Soh say what is possible and what not, to do.

That's why I said, higher levels of defense = slow FP drain. If your a guardian and you don't already have or is aiming for defense 4/5 then something is wrong.

Clarification, the +/- 0.2 return offset is in degrees right? If thats the case then it can be pretty big, particularly over longer distances. I think experimenting with Def 4 cutting that offset in half would be great. I'd love to hear more on it.
edit:// You can't reflect the disruptor beam via lightsaber, just off of certain surfaces in the level geometry. Line-of-sight game mechanics from the original rail gun.

Soh says, don't wonder about what's possible or not when suggesting things.

For that particular case, adding an FP cost and reducing reliability depending on FP are both possible.

Nope, it's a bit more complicated. That offset is applied to a normalized direction vector, meaning the X, Y, Z components of the vector are divided by the length, leaving them with values between 0 and 1. Oh maths.
Now that I think of it, I guess a +/- 0.2 alteration can have significant impact, especially if the target is far. For now reducing that random offset to 0.1 for levels 4/5 seems the way to go. Given the way missile reflection is coded in BaseJKA, this will also impact other kinds of missiles.. like rockets.

Meaning...It may make the rockets be deflect-able as well?

I don't think rockets fall under the laser weapon category, you have to push those.

From what I understand, it would simply make the rocket reflection more accurate at higher levels of Telekinesis, Drasli.

Seems like a grand idea to me.

oh alright, thank you for clarifying that. I agree then as well, sounds like it would be a good addition.

You should have Hold on rockets. Grab them, then swing them around as weapons with telekinetic power!
You've gotta admit, it would be a great addition...

That actually would be kinda cool....

Reminds me of the Matrix. Wonder if it's possible to actually do IG though.
