RPMod supports BaseJKA mode, JK2 mode and hybrid (both) mode for the RDFA. Currently on our servers, hybrid mode is enabled, so that people used to the old JK2-style can do it, and those who prefer JKA-style can stick with what they know.
(Sorry for bringing up a semi-old topic, but it contained a point already addressed.) After sparring a few rounds today, I've at last become compelled to basically petition for the servers to abide by the basejka red DFA. Everybody and their brother suffers from accidental DFAs caused by the JK2 style, which presents many opportunities for embarrassing counter-attacks from a result of your subsequent vulnerability. Just personally, I'm done lol. I encourage everyone who has suffered from this to post here.

Agreed. Perhaps something can be done about that.

I have not suffered it, but I will eventually, Lol.
EDIT:Why not deactivate the hybrid mod?

Agreed. This is incredibly irritating.

Hmmm, I do like it in some senses and barely slip up with it, if placed well it can be an incredibly effective attack when used with the right combination and form of deception.
Its not really important however and if the majority decide to disregard it then that sounds like the best course of action. However if there is a way of both the JK2 version and JKA version coexisting with perhaps a little more control utilized when it comes to the JK2 version, that'd be great.
Not quite sure what to suggest as I am unaware of the limitations, but I imagine there could be a way though it could be an animation issue.

I personally don't see a problem in leaving it the way it is right now, but that is because I had JO for two years before getting JA (and, of course, I am way better at JO dueling). But that could just be me.

Coming soon:
- Reduced reflection error for Saber Defense 4/5 (+/- 0.1 instead of 0.2, making it twice more likely to hit the target)
- Ability to disable the JK2 RDFA yourself with /rpclientconfig (rejoice, Jamus)
