I mean, I don't exactly go around shouting JEDI character's names. In fact, I never say them. They're always typed. And I don't use a text-to-speech program either.

Speak for yourself. No pun intended.

Regardless of how funny that was, please keep the content PG-13 Sared, and keep the content on topic.
If you have to post material like that keep it in the misc thread.

I saw the name O'Day-Smith on a National Latin Exam thing a long time ago. I thought it was the coolest name ever, so I have remebered it since. Also Darth Mudkipz is pretty obvious. Darth + Mudkipz.

When I started playing the Jedi Knight series the first name that sprung to mind was 'Xann'. This was then a name you did not often see around.
Many years passed and 'Xann' became a very common name in the Jedi Knight community. After a few years I decided to try my hands on Jedi Academy and the first community I found was 'JEDI' so, since it's a role-playing environment, it required me to create a character.
It took me a while to decide on the proper name for my character. I always liked 'Xann' and therefore decided on a different version, which became 'Xaran'. Then I had to think about my character's surname. I liked the letter 'V' at the beginning and a 'C' on the end. I figured, I'd continue with the letter 'A' and the letter 'R' and thus, since it sounded excellent, it became 'Varc'.

Andrew - It means strong man, and happens to be my first name in real life.
Quintilian - is from Marcus Fabius Quintilianus, a Roman centurion stationed in Spain that was considered to be the father of Rhetoric. Originally I used the name as my Lt. Commander aboard the Spirit Of Iron, and Imperial Remant star destroyer.
