As the title of the suggestion says, this is mostly for name colours.

We use just enough colours already to portray different things without really needing any more.

Else our in-game chat is going to look like a rainbow!

Did we ever get a clarification if the colors were/could be added? And if so, is it just orange, dark green, and purple? No brown?

That's pinkish, the purple Soh added is darker and looks like purple. Can we change the pink (^6) as well Soh? Not many have used that color for 'its pinkness' from my experience.

Maybe we could change it to... Dark brown? While adding Purple and Orange, too.

The default purple is used for private chat, I think we're all too used to it to change it to something radically different...

Then how about a deeper purple for the default purple while adding dark brown and orange for the other two open slots? I guess that could work, lol.

Agreed.

I'd rather we kept the defaults and just added two new ones.

^6 is very pink and rather fluorescent looking compared to the Purple in Soh's example in a previous post. I think having a darker purple would make a good addition rather than a replacement.

Personal preference is still Purple/Orange, although (Understanding Soh's point) I still wouldn't mind ^5 looking more purple, and having Orange + another added. Perhaps get the favourite colour combo's together and poll it. Seems the fairest way?

^5 is Cyan
^6 is Pinky-Purple
