Making a saber. Absolute beginer.

So I'd like to create my own saber model. Have zero experience in creating things for JKA. Have some skills in 3d art/rendering though.
Here's the saber.
Any links to tutorials or other help would be great.

That has literally nothing to do with weapon modeling or how to get a hilt ingame.
If only I had more time I could show you the basics. There used to be some pretty decent tutorials floating around on JK3files. Could try JKHub as well.

I'm hoping these might be of some help to you. I know likely less about both Skinning and modeling than most around the Community here yet JKHub's never let me down yet.
