Where am I getting started?
Hi! I'm new here! Just downloaded the installer for the mod. Looking forward to playing some time. But where do I start? Do I post a character sheet somewhere or just hop in game when the server becomes populated? I'm a bit uncertain on what to do.
Re: Where am I getting started?
If you've got everything installed right, you can start RPing with us whenever you like! A small dry spell of activity at the moment, but it's starting to pick up again.
Though since you're applying for Initiation, you'll need to check this: Joining JEDI
It should all be there, though feel free to ask for help.

Also, once you have a skin, upload it to a website of your choice, and post the link in your signature, so we all have a copy. Otherwise, you're better off using one of the models in the standard Youngling Pack.

Re: Where am I getting started?
I'm actually having trouble joining a server, I get this message:
I can load the maps against bots however.Re: Where am I getting started?
Hm, make sure you've got the map file in both Base and JEDI folders in JKA.
E.g:
If you're loading the game from steam however, make sure you've got your launch options in.
Right Click the game in your Steam Library > Properties > Set Launch Options.
Post in this, it will be in the settings on your RPMod Launcher: +set fs_game rpmod +set fs_basegame JEDI

That did it! Thanks! One last thing, I have customized a skin, how do I export it from the game?

Export it from the game? When you say customised, you mean you've edited it in Photoshop, or...?

I think I have gotten this all wrong. I now realize that you guys create your own skins through a 3D modelling software right? By customize, I meant from the in-game character creator xD

Re: Where am I getting started?
Not really. We edit the textures of existing models with Photoshop or other different programs. If you're interested in making your own skin, you can follow this tutorial. You can also find a lot of interesting stuff on JKHubAdriannai Djiko wrote:I think I have gotten this all wrong.
