Progressing from today's lesson on Soresu, with particular emphasis on defensive technique and tactics, comes a simulation on the topic of escort duty. One of a Jedi's most common field operations, the ability to work to protect a potentially-defenseless individual from harm is an important one, and something all Jedi should learn to do!

So, with this in mind, we will be engaging in a Master-and-Padawan scenario, whereby two students will be expected to protect a third, who will be entirely non-combatant for the purposes of the scenario. This will be timed, and students will be assessed on creativity, effectiveness of their strategy, and how long they manage to keep their protectee in one piece.

Older students will likely find themselves in the 'Master' role for this, as an opportunity to take on some additional responsibility - if you're feeling up to a challenge, I urge you to attend. See you all soon, students!
