I imagine we've all heard of the Matukai - at least most of us. There are a few living among us, after all. That said, this is the first lesson in a series of theoretical lessons that I plan to center on other cultures and how they interpret and use the Force. I figured this would be a good starting point given there is some degree of familiarity. Some theoretical lessons will be accompanied by a trip to a planet, others will not. If you're interested in learning more about how other people interpret and use the Force, as well as some history and culture related aspects, make sure to come.

• Additional Information:

Make sure to bring something to drink, get comfortable. It's my plan to include a member or two from our own enclave that happens to have such a title as a Matukai.

Hopefully you all learned a bit more about another culture as well as how they perceive the Force. As Jedi, we live fairly sheltered lives until we get out in the world later in our lives. We'll be taking a look at another culture next year with a practical trip to accompany it!
