JEDI Comport

Hey Guys,

I recently stumbled on a video on Youtube while I was watching some of dem amateur lightsaber fights and thought maybe this could be added to our list of potential lightsaber sounds.

The first part has the ignition sounds, then come the clashes, swings, hums and lastly rapid swings.

It would be cool if we could add some of the ignition sounds.

This can be done. But it has to be a group effort. The only reason we have a limited choice of sounds at the moment is to save the hilts/weapon pk3 from being any larger.

If enough of you want sounds from this video, I'll start ripping.

On top of that, if enough of you want the same super crazy exotic sounds for some reason, I will judge you then forfeit my decision to add said sounds, to someone higher than myself. : P

I would HAPPILY want these as it would help me to get sounds like the last jedi and the force awakens type saber sounds

I agree with this idea, but I already have sounds planned out for my saber. If you guys go with this idea, I would be glad to help out in setting up your favored SFX, as long as mine sounds cooler :P

Please note that we try avoiding adding personalised sounds to the hilt pack to stay away from huge files and slower download times. Adding these few sounds that Rhuacca suggested shouldn't be a problem, but we no longer add personalised sounds to the pack. There are several sets to pick from and these few ignition sounds will add to it. Please use those! Thank you

I mean we don't have to use personalized sounds, but it would be cooler if we had a couple more sounds regarding ignition or deactivation. For example we could use the ignition sounds of Galen Marek lightsaber for Sith sabers.
There are also a few humming sounds which are very standardized in the SW universe, but still they seem to miss.
