Crix Madine was shot while trying to sabotage the Darksaber. (The book shares the name 'Darksaber.')

One of his more under-rated books if you ask me. If you thought the community got their panties in a wad when Salvatore did that thing thing that Lucas told him to do, you should have seen critics get in a huff with Anderson over that! Your go Azra!

Well, technically Coruscant showed up in Return of the Jedi, first. Two years before Episode 1 was made :P

Considering Return of the Jedi was released in 1983...

Coruscant appeared for the space of 5 seconds in the 'Special Edition.' Title of first in-movie appearance goes to The Phantom Menace i'm afraid.

Regardless, Jared is correct, Coruscant first appeared in Timothy Zahns 'Heir to the Empire' in 1991. Still Jared's go.

That's exactly what I mean :P
Hence me saying technically...not saying he wasn't correct, though. :D

That's right!

"The Star Wars Holiday Special" marked the first appearance of the character Boba Fett, in an animated segment of the show.

You or Master Quell may go.

Keepin' things rolling!

What was George Lucas' least favorite scene in the original trilogy?
(For bonus points, how did he improve on the same idea later?)

The Max Rebo band inside Jabba's throne room?

That answers the bonus question actually, but the original question still stands!

George Lucas disliked the Cantina scene in A New Hope. It was supposed to convey the wide variety of different creatures, races, and species from across the galaxy in a setting that the audience could relate to. He didn't feel that it quite accomplished this, and was able to re-visit the idea in Jabba's Palace.

New question!

How many puppeteers operated Jabba?
(For bonus points, which puppeteer did what?)
(For bragging rights, how much did Jabba cost to make?)
