Morals and ethics on mind tricks

Reason For Request:

I'm interested on these kind of abilities, and I know that -I- will try to use it only for good purposes, but how "good" is to actually mess with someone else's mind?

Additional Information:

I was taught how to cloak myself (it doesn't work everytime though) and how to say like...one word to someone's mind, so I'm still extremely inexperienced!
