After extensive discussion, my mentor recommended this lesson to me as an ability that may serve well for assignments in the field, and I would like to learn the theory and practical portions of this skill so that, should the need arise, I will be equipped to access and bypass terminals with some level of proficiency.

I would be also interested in attending. Being aware of possible security gaps would help my further research and other projects greatly.

I would like to attend as well. I have a good share of experience with splicing computer systems, both in training and in live application. If needed, I would love to share my knowledge with those who want to learn the art of cyber security.
