Aqua,

As much as I love your enthusiasm, I should have explained. Traditionally, Force abilities are broken down into three basic areas:
  • Control - this focuses on the ability of a Jedi to sense and manipulate their internal Force energies (the ones that exist within you). That covers skills like Jump Augmentation (which you've already learned).
  • Sense - this covers skills which enable you to sense the Force in the world around you, and provide you with information and insight that you otherwise might not gain. Core abilities include 'Prima Vitae', which literally means 'Sense Life'.
  • Alter - these skills build upon your ability to sense the Force outside of you by enabling you to draw upon that energy and then change it into particular forms. This includes the skills of Telekinesis, Force Cloaking, and so on. This is the hardest of the three schools.
The reason I'm telling you this is because, typically, you should first work upon sensing the Force inside of yourself and manipulating that energy (Control - which you have done via meditation and Jump Augmentation), and thereafter move onto the second: Sense. This will teach you to feel the Force outside of yourself, which you can then later use to help you with the third school: Alter.

Burst Telekinesis can be found within the Alter school - I, personally, would recommend that you first study Prima Vitae, which is the ability both to sense the Force in the world around you, and further refine those senses to detect living beings in close proximity. Once you've got that...you'll be ready to start learning from the Alter school.

That noted...nothing wrong with you still having this lesson - just be aware that you might not be ready to progress onto Alter techniques, without having the proper grounding in the concepts that come first. As ever, feel free to come and have a chat with me if you want to explain it some more.
