We've discussed the fundamentals of the Legislative Branch in previous sessions. We've covered how a Senator gets elected, how a bill gets passed, and the role of political parties in the legislative process.

We're going to move onto the next branch of government, the Executive Branch. In this lesson we will...

• Discuss the role of the Chancellor in government as the Head of State and Government
• Discuss the powers of the Chancellor including the power to pardon criminals and veto bills
• Discuss the role of departments in the Executive Branch
• Discuss the importance of the Chancellor's cabinet
