Thanium Worlds Campaign Record
Act 1: Investigation
Shortly after the establishment of the Third Estate the nearby Thanium sector began experiencing an increase in pirate and smuggling activity that preyed on the disparate worlds within that region of space. Because of a turbulent history of warfare, political disorder, and competition between the planets in the sector, there was no sector-wide security force nor coordination between worlds for mutual defense. Each major world in the sector maintained its own, personal, security forces that did nothing more than keep their immediate hyperspace lanes secure and no others. This allowed for multiple points of entry for ne'er-do-wells to perform clandestine operations across the sector including smuggling, interdiction, and hostile boarding actions for freighters across the sector.
To answer this rising threat, a small paramilitary group formed called the Starlight Corps. Captained by a Stenax captain, Lagyanes Bendix, and based out of a (mostly) refurbished Mere Cruiser named The Syrinx, the Starlight Corps had a fighter contingent that they used to patrol where they could and harass pirates in order to allow civilian freighters and transport vessels time to escape. However, the capacity of the Starlight Corps was still extremely limited and fully committed to patrolling hyperspace lanes. They did not have the ability to be proactive, and so they asked for assistance…

Mere Cruiser Syrinx
The Starlight Corps first requested JEDI support in patrolling hyperspace lanes. While the Corps focused on fighting against pirates, Bendix also suspected that they were a distracting measure to pull attention away from the true goal: smuggling weapons and other equipment through the sector. To where he did not know, but he hoped that the JEDI would be able to identify an affiliated smuggler, apprehend them, and gain information from the arrest.

Starlight Corps Captain Lagyanes Bendix
After failing to arrest a smuggler, Bendix still needed help figuring out who was being the pirate and smuggling operations in his sector. The world Thanium, sharing a name with the larger sector, was a major trade center that continually had shipping traffic through it. He asked JEDI operatives to go to the world where he suspected a haunt for these smugglers was located. Going undercover, Jedi Master Mirkal and Padawan Zhu’shk identified one of the smugglers. While Mirkal distracted the Sooman smuggler, Zhu’shk managed to slice into his datapad, finding a direct connection between the smuggling operation and the up-and-coming Ice-Flame Chamber, a Hutt Cartel gaining power and influence in Hutt Space. It was also discovered that the Ice-Flame Chamber was smuggling weapons to the planet Stenos where a radical conservative movement was growing with the desire to reclaim glory days of war and expansion through violence.
Relevant Documentation: Trying to build off of this knowledge, Jedi Master Mirkal launched an operation with his padawans Yusuki Makashi and Torij’kan to bait some Hutt pirates into a trap. Setting up a freighter to look derelict and defenseless in space, the plan was to lure out the Pirate captain covertly, capture him, and acquire information. Unfortunately, the pirates got wise to the fact there were Jedi on the ship, withdrawing and then firing on the freighter. Using a hidden ship inside, the Jedi managed to escape unharmed, but the knowledge of who was funding the weapons smuggling to Stenos remained hidden.

Epilogue:
The Jedi investigations on behalf of Lagyanes Bendix and the Starlight Corps were partially successful. They identified that the Ice-Flame Chamber was being funded by a mysterious third party to supply weapons to a radical and violent faction on the planet Stenos. Shortly after, the health of the enigmatic Emperor of the Stenax people started to fail. Turning 243, he had served as Emperor for 204 years and had been a progressive ruler by attempting to steer his people culturally and politically towards peace and harmony with their neighbors. His government, meanwhile, had skewed conservative and embraced old ideas of the times of the Stenax Massacres, advocating for a violent return to greatness by conquering nearby planets to expand their borders. It became evident that whoever was funding this operation to supply the extremist Stenax, they were expecting that with the death of the Emperor the Stenax would pursue war.

Act 2: The Diplomatic Theater
With the only barrier to a war of aggression versus the planets in Thanium being the health of the ailing Emperor, Lagyanes Bendix worked with Tain F’neel, ambassador and representative of the Thanium planetary government, to create a diplomatic campus on the nearby Republic world Lianna. It took convincing, but all of the major planetary powers in the sector did send ambassadors to the campus.
It became immediately apparent why Thanium did not have a sector government, sector defense force, or any sort of sector-wide infrastructure of a meaningful sort. Of the major powers those who were not at each other’s throats had distanced themselves from the conflicts of their fellow star systems. To give the summit more legitimacy, the Starlight Corps asked the Jedi to meet with the Republic Senate Committee on Foreign Relations to approve and send their own ambassador to the Summit.
Tragically, the Third Estate expanded into the Hydian Way via the Pho Ph’eah system. Because of this, markets and industries in the Northwestern part of the Republic were suddenly cut off from markets in the Corporate Sector Authority space which disrupted those markets severely. This came to a head with the collapse of the D’Astran Legacy Bank on the Ecunopolis Axxila. In turn, this caused an economic panic in this region of the Republic that sent ripples through the whole Republic economy. Facing economic uncertainty and a growing rival along their border, the Republic Senate was not receptive towards the idea of involving itself into a historically difficult and turbulent sector’s internal conflicts.
Through hours of negotiation, Jedi diplomats successfully convinced the Committee on Foreign Affairs to recommend an ambassador to Lianna.
Relevant Documentation: Due to this, the Third Estate also expressed an interest in involving itself into the affairs of the sector. Lagyanes Bendix worried that this would allow the Third Estate to command influence over worlds in the sector by offering them direct aid in their personal struggles, as well as a refuge against the growing Stenax threat, allowing further expansion of the dictatorship territorially effectively trading one devil for another.
Jedi infiltrators went undercover to intercept the Third Estate ambassador to discreetly survey and obtain defaming information that would help convince the Lianna summit to reject the ambassador and deny the Third Estate the ability to quietly or covertly gain the loyalty of worlds at the summit.
Through the course of the operation, the Jedi found direct evidence proving that the Third Estate was the mysterious third party that was funding the Hutt support of the Stenax. Bringing this information to the summit, as well as Padawan Rizka Barrow publicly humiliating the Third Estate Ambassador who had shamelessly made advances towards her during their covert operation, the Thanium Ambassadors did vote to reject the Third Estate ambassador who then immediately asked for sanctuary within the Republic out of fear for his life for his failure.
Relevant Documentation: Knowing his life was coming to an end, the Stenax Emperor himself wished to visit the summit. The ambassadors voted to accepted this wish, opening an opportunity to speak before their assembled governments. Emperor Hautrn asked the Jedi order to escort him to the summit as he had concerns over a cabal of people in his court and government conspiring against him. His concerned proved to be well founded, as Jedi Knight Donan Healof and Padawan Zhu’shk were confronted with a well organized, coordinated, and supplied assassination attempt on board the Emperor’s corvette while it was en route to Lianna. Even when they got him safe to the summit, the danger had not passed. Right before his speech, the Jedi managed to stop Sooman ambassador Molara Landra as she stood and used an assembled hold-out pistol that had been concealed to try and kill the Emperor.

Stenax Emperor Hautrn's Final Speech
The Emperor managed to give a rousing speech in a last-ditch attempt to unify the Thanium Worlds versus what he saw as his government going rogue. Tragically, he died very shortly after his speech. Within hours of the Stenax government receiving the news of his passing the Lords’ Chamber elected seventeen year old Emperor Xenphalan who authorized the directive to begin a military operation to set up a forward operating base over the unpopulated Rhen Var system. War in Thanium had come.
Relevant Documentation: After days of nearly non-stop negotiation, Padawan and future Knight Zhu'shk crafted an alliance out of nearly impossible conditions. Bringing together enemies and making them reluctant allies, Zhu'shk with the assistance of Padawan Rizka Barrow and others brought the diverse worlds of Thanium to sign the Lianna Accords. Tragically, before they were finalized, a core component of the Accords fell through.
The Jedi High Council pulled its support from the Accords at the last moment. The result of this was the complete collapse of an extremely fragile arrangement with the Sooman monarchy to release the planet Alzar from vassalage in exchange for purchasing playboy gambler Yan Eelan's casino planet Elerion. The original document stated in Article III:
Transfer of Elerion
Yan Eelan shall execute a sale of the Elerion System exclusively to the Sooman Kingdom, thereby transferring all rights, titles, and interests in said system.
Transfer Collateralized by the Jedi Order
The transfer of the Elerion System to the Sooman Kingdom shall be collateralized by the Jedi Order. Any standing of losses due to the transfer being incompleted shall be compensated financially by the Jedi Order.
This collaterization is pledged by representative of the Jedi Order, Padawan Zhu'shk.
When the Jedi Order withdrew its willingness to act as trustee of the system, the Sooman's refused to release Alzar, leading to immediate declarations of war and allegiance to the Third Estate on the part of the Alzarian royalty. Despite this, the rest of the Accords were nonetheless agreed to. The final draft that was signed by all the following planets of the Thanium Sector is as follows:

Assault on Alzar
Spoiler
Because of the Jedi Order's decision to pull out from the Lianna Accords, the Alzarians declared a war for independence from the Sooman Monarchy. Formally allying themselves with the Third Estate, the Third Estate did not send their own troops to Alzar, but actively supplied the Alzarian Monarchy with advanced armor, mechs, weapons, and combat aircraft to secure their independence. While the Thanium Sector Alliance was, broadly, unhappy with the situation of suppressing claims of Alzarian Sovereignty, the threat of the Third Estate gaining a foothold in the sector was too high.
Having left the Order at the time, Nil Zendu (Knight Rank) and Rizka Barrow (Padawan Rank) were ordered by then Exiled Knight Aranna Vaan to support the Thanium Sector Alliance's top-performing commando squad, Zillo Squad, in helping the Sooman Kingdom to establish a beachhead on Alzar. Zillo Squad, led by the former Jedi, punched a hole through the Alzarian lines and destroyed the Alzarian back-line artillery and anti-air positions, allowing for the advance of the Sooman Army to be successful.
After landing troops, the Soomans laid siege to the Alzar capital city. Zillo Squad, along with Nil and Rizka, infiltrated the city and instigated a series of protests from the discontented Alzarians within, while also helping prop up another member of the royal family to succeed King Kurzog XII who would be pressured to abdicate due to the horrible living conditions of his people due to the war.
At the same time, the Third Estate deployed one of their top Curator Agents, Maverick (also known to the Jedi as Ender Caard) to maintain the status quo within the Alzarian monarchy. However, whatever efforts they put into the attempt to keep King Kurzog XII on the throne failed, and the operation led by Zillo and the former Jedi to cause a bloodless coup was successful. The new regime ended the war for Independence, and Alzar fell into a relative, if disquiet, peace allowing the Sooman Empire to delegate its forces back to the Stenax front.

Though the Troobs and Hobors officially made an agreement in the Lianna Accords to share planetary political power, land control, and sovereignty, radical clan leaders with the Hobors were still angry at the new status quo and were looking to the Third Estate to stage a coup of their own to take full control of the Planet.
Again, Zillo Squad was deployed alongside Rizka and Nil to track down where the hidden Third Estate supply depots were located across the face of Tahlboor. Rizka and Nil uncovered the location of the central landing zone wherein the supplies were redeployed to smaller supply drops across the planet. Mossak Planetary Map

After a major shift within the membership of the High Council, The High Council hesitantly allowed the Duneeden Branch to send volunteers to help within the conflict due to the urgings of Grandmaster Coron Audax. Re-inviting back members, many of whom were exiled, and others who had left to follow their values, the Order authorized an expeditionary task force of Jedi Knights and Padawans to aid in the assault on Mossak to establish an Alliance foothold on the planet to maintain its security from the Stenax Invasion.

Led by Jedi Knights Rhuacca and Varlo Racktor, Padawans Vakin Helios and Rakta Broac made covert planetfall near an archipelago of great strategic value. Destroying the island's anti-air canon, Alliance reinforcements landed a tank of the 1st armored division along with Zillo Squadron member 1st Lieutenant Doro Sol to press the offensive to the main island compound.

Midway through the assault, an anonymous message crackled through the comlinks of the Jedi Strike Team as follows:

After successfully getting their tank to the wall of the compound, the main battle tank punched a hole in the exterior wall, granting the JEDI access. Within, three Force-wielding enemies, known as Curators, were within as promised by the anonymous message. The JEDI defeated the Curators, buying time for Doro Sol to disarm det-charges that were placed throughout the facility to level it, and the mission was a success, allowing for Alliance troops to be re-deployed across the surface of Mossak to fight to reclaim the planet in its entirety.
